Trying to think happy thoughts and not too hard about my dental hygienist (who recently joined the ranks of the mid-30s) saying conspiratorially today that "Birthdays aren't as much fun, now that we're old, are they?" (after wishing me a happy upcoming birthday.) Sigh. Maybe she needed cherry trees for her birthday.
