(Not an April Fool's Joke)

Barrack Obama recently visited Lititz, Pennsylvania, in the midst of his campaign for the Democratic nomination for President. Mr. Obama toured Wilbur Chocolate, a local company who proudly makes not only all the white chocolate used by U.S. candy companies, but also Wilbur Buds.

Obama then stopped at Wilbur Chocolate Co. in Lititz. Shortly after he entered the small shop and shook hands with Mayor Russell Pettyjohn, staffers handed him a bowl of the company's famous buds. "Quite tasty," said Obama, who took a few. "That's some good chocolate. Hershey's in Pennsylvania, too, right?" When Wilbur's loyal employees gave him some disconcerting looks, Obama playfully put his hands up as if in defense and said: "Don't want to get in trouble." [Emphasis added](Pidgeon, Dave. 2008. Not only did Obama show bad form in talking up a competitor, but apparently, Obama's staff neglected to inform him that in 1907, Milton Hershey copied Wilbur's buds (introduced in 1893) and marketed them as his own Hershey's Kisses.
