Elevators

Ever found yourself leaving work, having worked very late. Already depressed--realizing it is pitch black dark outside, and you still have to drive an hour home. You find yourself in an elevator, pushing a button that refuses to operate the machine. You press the button repeatedly as it lights up, then goes dark, refusing to budge. You finally get so frustrated, you push the close doors button, only to wonder as they start to close, if the elevator is broken again...which then leads you to thrust out your arm to block the doors. As you swing yourself outside the elevator, you suddenly realize you were pressing the button for the floor you are currently on. Fortunately, the building officially closed hours ago, so you are the only one around to laugh at your tired stupidity:-P
