Update

Yes, I realize that I haven't been very good about updating with news recently, but as y'all all understand, it has been an incredibly busy and difficult month. My mother was gone for a month, first taking care of my grandmother, then working on closing up the house after it was all over. While she was gone, I was having to handle most of her responsibilities at home, while working full time, and making two 12 hour round trips to ESVA to see my grandmother/funeral, in addition to the rest of life. I am trying to settle back into work, which as you know is a recess month, which translates into a very busy district schedule. I am also setting up a huge multiday event for my boss which is taking place only weeks after THE's annual meeting. Top that off with a POTUS visitand normal election year, and perhaps you can see why it has been so long since I have updated.

Okay, new, news. It is the summer, so not too much, but here is what I have...

The Whispering Spot has learned that Lord Peter Wimsey is departing shortly for Iraq as Mr. Cled heads off to bootcamp. The Swartz and his girl are now an official couple. Moel Joughon is headed off to Surinam (not to stay, but to visit his sister teaching ESL). My Adorable Niece has developed a admiration for puppies from a distance, a fear of them close up, and seven teeth (with more on the way). She is also very talkative these days. She went only a few days ago to only "saying" one or two things, to babbling on for three straight minutes to me tonight:-P Miss Walter's has also developed an enjoyment of pups, accepting a part time position at an frozen dessert establishment with its own line of pup pops. M&E L, have welcomed a new baby boy, Jonathan Mark, to the world. The Stewardess is back in town, after a three week vacation. Mrs. Hughes and her husband have had a wonderful break out West visiting their families, hiking, watching sibblings participate in local fairs, and preparing all their stuff to be shipped back to the East Coast. Our souces tell us they will be back in the next two weeks. The ArmedProphet is preparing both for the beginning of classes and the dreaded start of interviewing for clerkships. Karl A Kilgore has become a notary on the same day he put in a concealed and carry permit. Guess with all these inmate incidents, notaries can't be too careful. (BTW, for you news junkies: my oldest brother was on his way to class on Monday, when he was passed by 15 police cars and a SWAT team responding to the armed and dangerous felon hiding on VaT's campus. ) Mrs. Peter has moved to a new job, (in the same industry), which she is enjoying immensely. She and Peter will be moving in the next few months. If Peter's internship falls through, they will be moving directly to Louisville for his seminary this winter. Bozo returned from an overseas visit to both Spain and Morocco. He enjoyed Morocco most. Why? Because of the pastors and other persecuted christians he was able to interact with. The Heart and Brain have updated their website. The CMM and Sprintcess welcomed Emmie to the world. For pictures, check out their new website. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare to move (w/ a new little one) this weekend. Me? I am leaving on a jet plane in a week and a half:-) See ya!

I love it...its like a "Mrs. Rachel Lynde w/the voice of Anne" post.

You're in my prayers and will continue to be with the loss of your beloved grandmother.
