the wedding

a bachelorette party, a rehearsal, a reception, two after parties, saving the world a time or two, great times with friends, toasts drunk, birthdays celebrated, and more than a laugh or two, i am back at home, both physically and emotionally drained, and for once thinking, i really need to go back to work so i can get some rest (i.e. get back on a regular sleep schedule). it was really great to see all of you this weekend, though my one regret is that i didn't have as much time to catch up as i would have liked.

the most random thing today was that my reward for everything was finally to get away from all the wedding stuff and get my hair cut off. i went to my regular salon in the town center thinking that i could finally relax from the wedding. i walked into the town center, and hadn't eaten much, so went down to the food court to grab some lunch and low and behold, they were throwing a bridal expo. i was almost physically ill at that point, so quickly ran away. i did get my hair cut off. well, not totally off, but i did take about four inches off and change the style. think meg ryan from kate & leopold meets kelly clarkson. i know, weird, but its fun. i made it home without getting pulled over for sleepy driving, and promptly crashed, er, took a two hour nap...am now trying to prepare to face whatever dragons there well be next week and looking forward to next weekend not doing anything!!!
