We tried reversing our traditional route this year...

New statues to play with.  A tame lion?

So L arrived at the National Gallery and we had to laugh because all the girls were wearing blue, and Jonathan wasn't, so we took the following photo.

We decided to reverse our traditional route, and so this year, started at the Washington Monument (where kite day was wrapping up)=>WWII Memorial=>Lincoln Memorial=>Korean Memorial=>Tidal Basin=>FDR Memorial=>George Mason Memorial=>Jefferson Memorial.  It actually seemed to help a lot with crowds, plus was just fun to walk through the memorials in a different way.
